TOILETS
Please do not throw anything down the toilets!!! The sewage system in villages like Kato Gatzea is not made to handle even paper down the toilet and this will clog the system and produce a great deal of hassle for all of us.
NO SMOKING
You are not allowed to smoke inside the house and if you do according to the reservation terms you will be charged for dry cleaning all curtains.

You should be able to get coverage throughout the villas via gatzea_villas, gatzea_villas_b and gatzea_villas_up
Please DO NOT reset the router found inside the villa as it is only a repeater and you will manage to mix everything up! In case there is a problem with the internet it is probably not caused by us and it will be fixed as soon as possible!
QUIET HOURS
Since you are in a residential area please respect your neighbors and refrain from making loud noises between the hours of 15:00 to 17:00 and 23:00 to 08:00 especially by the pool area. This is required by law and it is not our own rule.
AIR CONDITIONING
In order to save energy, please do not leave the air-conditioning units running when you are gone for more than 30 minutes from the villa. The units turn off sixty seconds after a window is opened.
HEATING
During the winter, the temperature inside the villa is kept at a steady 21 degrees Celsius. If you would like to change the temperature please go to the thermostat and use the UP and DOWN buttons to select the temperature and then hit the √ button.
HOT WATER
The villa has a 24hours supply of hot water, in the rare event that hot water runs out please allow 15 minutes for the water to reheat again.
BBQ
The gas BBQ is there for you to use. If you are familiar with how gas BBQ’s work then you will not have a problem. If not, here is a quick lesson:
To light the gas grill, first open the lid so unlit gas fumes don't collect in the cooking box. Next, slowly open the valve on your propane tank under the BBQ all the way and wait 5 seconds for the gas to travel through the gas line. Turn the knob to High/Start and you will hear a clicking sound that lights each burner individually.
Close the lid and preheat the grill for 10 to 15 minutes. (Important)
After 10 to 15 minutes, use the long-handled grill brush to clean the cooking grates. Then adjust the burners to the suggested method and temperature in the recipe. You do NOT need to oil the grates or put anything else on them. Cook your meat by turning it occasionally. Under the BBQ there is a small oil container that needs to be emptied.
When finished, turn the valve on the tank off and when the fire is extinguished turn the knobs off.
LIGHTING
All external and garden lighting, along with the pool lights, are scheduled to turn on and off automatically.
OUTSIDE DOORS
You have keys to the external doors of the villa. Although we are located in a safe area we advise you to keep the outside doors locked during the night to keep out people who would like to rent the villa out (yes it happens!)
